Privacy Policy

Who we are

Kaihon is run by AIS Development, which is responsible for your data in it. For anything about your data: ais.devlop@gmail.com. This policy applies from 2 November 2026.

What we collect

From your Google account when you sign in: your Google account ID, email address, name and picture.

What you add yourself: your name, picture, bio and status in each community; the blogs, records, comments, messages and pictures you write and upload; your likes, follows, reports and appeals.

What comes from using Kaihon: the days you check in, the time a community is open on your device counted by the hour, your points, coins and levels, and the record of moderation decisions about you.

About your device: the kind of browser or app when you sign in, your time zone, and a notification token if you allow notifications. Your device's IP address reaches our servers with every request, as with any internet service.

We use no advertising, and no third-party tracking or analytics tools.

Why we use it

To run Kaihon: to sign you in, show what you post to those allowed to see it, deliver messages and notifications, count points and levels, moderate communities, and protect the service from abuse. We rely on providing the service you asked for, and on our legitimate interest in keeping it safe.

We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.

Who sees it

Members of the communities you join see your profile there and what you post there, according to privacy settings and moderation decisions. Private messages are read by the people in them; they are stored on our servers and are not end-to-end encrypted.

We use services that process some data on our behalf: Google for sign-in, Expo and Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver notifications, and the hosting provider our servers run on. We may disclose data where the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. When you delete your account it is deleted at once: your account and sign-in, your name, picture and bio in every community, your coins and points, your follows, drafts and notifications, your sessions and devices, and your pictures nobody else uses.

What you wrote that others read - blogs, records, comments and messages - stays where it is, signed "Deleted member" without your name or picture, and moderation records stay without your name. If we keep backups of our database, your deleted data leaves them as they are replaced, within 30 days.

Your rights

You may see and correct your data - most of it you edit yourself from your profile - delete your account from the app or the web page at any time, and ask for a copy of your data or object to its use by writing to ais.devlop@gmail.com.

You may also complain to your data protection authority; in Morocco it is the CNDP (Commission nationale de contrôle de la protection des données à caractère personnel).

Children

Kaihon is for people aged 13 and over, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger. If we learn of an account belonging to a child under that age, we delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will tell you in the app before the change applies.
